I know this may sound cliché, the whole concept of a new year being a new beginning, but to me it never grows old. There IS a sense of newness to 1st January, a lightness and excitement of new beginnings.

It’s even more so for me this year as we’ll be moving to Miri in Feb. New home, new friends, new experiences. I’m excited : )) I’m so loving the new year already!
